Hello List, I found Andrew Madden born 1795 in Maryland, in the 1880 census age 85 living with his daughter and son-in-law Phillip and Margaret Shoop in Nineva, Adair County MO. I believe that this Andrew Madden is my great great grandfather but so far have no evidence to prove this. I wonder if some kind soul could tell me what churches might be in that area. I recently called the Adair County offices and was not able to get a death certificate for him. Is there anyone that might have access to church records of that area and could look?? This has been a brick wall for me for almost 30 years and all of a sudden the possible answer has come so easily - at least hopefully.
