I have GILSON & COVERT surnames from Census Place: 1880 - Morrow Twp., Adair County, Missouri; Although family stories had them living in Putnum County, Missouri. I have never found my GILSON family on the 1870 census so it is possible they may have first lived in Putnum County and by 1880 moved to Adair County.
