John Gilson was b. abt. 1814 according to the age on his census records found in Greene Co. Indiana in 1860 and in (Mercer Twp.?) Putnum Co. Missouri in 1880. I have been curious about the information a cousin sent me stating that John was living in Mercer twp. Putnum Co. MO as the below information is the census info I have found. Maybe he was in Putnum in 1870 as I have not found him in that year.
