Researching the descendants of the subject couple. I do not have a death date for Rebecca, but she does not appear on the 1860 census and I assume she died sometime between 1850 and 1860. Andrew died about 1865 after having left Adair County to live with son Charles B. This couple came to Adair County from Richland Co., Ohio about 1839. They had 4 children, all born in Ohio: Sarah, (~1805-1879) married Stillman Snell (1809-1892), 4 children Charles B.(1808-1892), married Irene Katherine ??(1813-1874), 9 children Andrew Lathede(~1818-aft 1894), married Ursley Martin (1826-1874), 12 children Rebecca (1820-1894), married Columbus James Sloan (1816-1883), 6 children The 2 boys, Charles & Andrew, moved west to Sullivan County where they lived out their lives, while the 2 daughters, Sarah and Rebecca, remained in Adair County.
