In response to Leslie Kohler's request: I have many surnames in Adair County and the adjacent counties of Schuyler, Lewis, Scotland and Knox. Starting with my grandparents --Ferguson, Cornell, Ammerman and Dotson "older" grandparents-- Pring, Cheatum, Drake, Clark, Moots. All except Pring were in Adair County between 1850 and 1888.
