    3. Hello Gayle, Although I have not had the time to research there on my trips to date, the library on the campus of Truman State University (my Alma Mater) houses a collection of micro-film and other genealogical materials... including reels of film of the local newspaper. This library is located just east of Franklin Street and just NE of the Student Union. There is a parking lot (with some visiotrs' parking) on the west side of the building, which can be accessed from Franklin Street. The public library has a genealogy room, as well, though it is not as well stocked. And, you may well want to check the historical society's collection. I have never personally seen it. But, I do know that the hours there are very limited. (Wish I had written them down so that I could give them to you.)
