I recently found my ggrandmother's sister, Mary SHARRER -GUIST- ZIGLER b. April 18, 1854 spent her last days at the Adair co. poor house and was buried at the poor house cemetery in 1933. Could someone direct me to that cemetery? Other info. abt. Mary eagerly welcomed. I am somewhat familiar with Kirksville as I live in Macon co. and attended school in Kirksville. Russ.

Russ, The cemetery would be Highland Park or Mary Immaculate. (located to the east - road behind the HS) This cemetery is right next to what was the poor house. There may not be graves for them. You might want to check with the Adair County Court house?
