Hello fellow researcher, Merry Christmas, I have a research problem I would like to share abt my ggrandparents in hopes someone out there has suggestions for HELP. What is Know: 1) Martha WILLIS mrd William SANER Nov 27 1889, in Adair. Martha not quite 13ys old. Will was 21. Williams father Jacob Saner giving permission for both stating he was legal guardian for Martha. 2) Martha Elizabeth was born Feb 1877 per 1900 Adair Mo Census living with husband William SANER & 3 children Effie, Amie (my grandmother Mamie) Dale SANER. born MO as was Parents. 3) Divorced Will Saner abt 1901 early 1902 4) Martha WILDS mrd William A BOUGHER May 14 1903 in Adair Mo 4a) William SANER mrd Ella M Chadeayne Aug 1902 5) Martha Elizabeth was living with 2nd husband WA BOUGHER in 1910 Adair MO Census and her 3 children. WA was 34 mrd 2nd time born IA as was parents. 6) Greencastle Sullivan Co Cem has a Martha SANER buried there with tombstone dated 1877-1913. 6a) Was told by grandmother Mamie SANER STOKES, wife of Ora STOKES that Martha died in Oct of 1913. Went to Salt Lake in Oct and did some research and I have found no film or books with information on guardianship of Martha Elizabeth WILLIS or WILDS to Jacob SANER. I have found no film or books with divorce information for Martha E and 1st husband William SANER I have not found William A BOUGHER in 1920 census in Missouri. What happened to him? Missouri has not been able to find a death Certificate for Martha E Willis-Wilds-Saner-Bougher between 1910 and 1915 looking in 6 surrounding counties of Adair. This is were the help is needed I need who to write to and a address for the GREEN CASTLE SULLIVAN CEM or city hall. Hopefully I can get information abt the Martha Saner buried there. What are the most likely funeral homes and address I could write to in either Sullivan or Adair MO where some records of her funeral was held. News papers in print back in 1913 in Adair, Kirksville, Stahl or Greencastle area so I could write to them? Would the Missouri Historical society have any of this information? Newspapers on film. Do lookups? How well stocked with local information is the Family History Centers in Kirksville, Greencastle? Any other suggestions for research would be most helpful. This ggrandmother is the only direct line that has dead ended on me before the mid 1700. Thank you very much Cheryl Stokes Krajnik Nampa ID
