I am looking for marriages of the Myers family who lived in Unionville, Putnam County, but previously area was part of Adair and Sullivan and Dodge Counties. I have been going round and round for many years looking for their marriages. I suspect if I find one, I'll find the others. The most unusual name ie Wesley Myers to an Elizabeth Unknown, Unknown date. First child was born 1849, so suspect marriage took place 1845-1850 RN [email protected]

    3. Genealogists, particularly those interested in the use of technology, will meet in St. Louis from 22-24 January 2004 for NGS GENTECH 2004. December 1 is the deadline for the "early bird" registration discount. Since 1993, GENTECH has been the national conference for people interested in GENealogy and TECHnology. In 2002 GENTECH strengthened its infrastructure and expanded its role by becoming a division of the National Genealogical Society. Each year the conference has featured a panel of nationally known speakers who have addressed themselves to every aspect of the use of computer and Internet technology to support genealogical research - to meet the needs of advanced users as well as those just beginning to use technology in their research. This year there will be a special Librarian's Pre-Conference at NGS GENTECH Thursday, January 22, 2004. Details of this special Pre-Conference are at: www.slcl.lib.mo.us/slcl/sc/gentech04/precon-schedule.htm.
