I've done a GEDCOM every month to update my Rootsweb pages. This is how I do it. Open the file I want Go to FILE drop-down menu click on COPY/EXPORT Make sure your SAVE IN file reads FTW Create a new name for your GEDCOM Click on your drop-down menu in the SAVE AS TYPE and change it to GED When I update, I use names that will help me figure out which one I want to use. For instance, I will use Farrand Family Aug Update in a couple of weeks to update Rootsweb. This helps me because I use other Farrand names when sharing files with other researchers.
