Does anyone know what year the last wooden street car was retired in St Louis? Also why were they allowed to run when the intersection of Broadway and Chouteau was flooded if they were run by electricity? Why weren't the passengers electrocuted and killed? Even though the motorman was running the car in front, why was the foot gong left in the back and he still had a gong in front?----Jim
