Has anyone else gotten solicitous emails from Ancestry? I got one today re: my ancestor, Alexander McWilliams (the one born supposedly on the ship). "Sophie" said she had found a couple of listings on the Social Security Index for me, and I should go check it out. Because I was curious, I bit. It WAS SS information, but also a solicitation to BUY a year from Ancestry. AND, when I went to write back to this nice girl, it was an UNSUBSCRIBE address! Anyone else getting this form of unsolicited SPAM disguised as email? I don't want to UNSUBSCRIBE or block it in Mailwasher, because I do go there from home for free, and use it at the library...
