To obtain a DD-214, go to the <A HREF="http://www.archives.gov/research_room/vetrecs/">National Personnel Records Center's Website</A> (http://www.archives.gov/research_room/vetrecs/). You can also go <A HREF="http://www.archives.gov/facilities/mo/st_louis/military_personnel_records/standard_form_180.html">online</A> (http://www.archives.gov/facilities/mo/st_louis/miliatry_personnel_records/standard_form_180.htm) to order the DD-214's via mail or fax. You can obtain your DD-214 by filling out Standard Form 180, which can be downloaded from the <A HREF="http://www.military.com/Resources/ResourceSubmittedFileView?file=Forms.htm">Forms page</A> (http://www.military.com/Resources/ResourceSubmittedFileView?file=Forms.htm). The new web-based application was designed to provide better service on these requests by eliminating the records center's mailroom processing time.
