Hey, Pat! Actually the sailing dates are encoded in the web address. For example the first one includes the code 18480106, which translates simply to year, month, date; or 1848 January 06. The word (or words) immediately preceding the date is the name of the ship, in this case the Itzstein & Welcker. The next one on the list is the 1859 September 22, and so on. I used the same type of encoded dates in statistical research in college, and still use them in my business. Hope this helps!
