    3. Some of my brick walls: PICKER, Bernhard, b. abt. 1829 in Prussia (most probably Westphalia); d. 28 December 1884; buried St. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Immigration date unknown. 2nd Marriage: Christina VOSS, b. December 1833 in Prussia (most probably Westphalia), on 11 January 1859 at St. Peter and Paul Church, St. Louis. Bernard PICKER's son by first marriage: Henry PICKER, b. Between 1846 - 1849 in Prussia. Bernard is not found in the 1850 Missouri Census. Major Brick Wall: NIXON, John T., b. abt. 1830 unknown; d. before June 1856, unknown Only reference I have to John T. NIXON is his marriage to Mary E. LANCASTER on 22 April 1849 at St. Patrick's Church in St. Louis. This information was found through the marriage records at City Hall. The records for St. Patrick's Church are not available before 1852 as they were destroyed in a fire. Therefore there is no hint to his parentage or place or origin. Son of John T. NIXON is Joseph Edward NIXON, b. 31 January 1851, in St. Louis. Wife Mary E. LANCASTER NIXON married two other times and outlived both husbands. John T. NIXON does not show up in death records. Family lore states he was a sailor and died near the Gulf of Mexico. John also does not show up in the 1840 or 1850 Missouri Census. His wife appears in the 1850 census living with her parents. ANY help finding information on my long lost John T. Nixon would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jan Shingle Springs, CA
