    1. [StL-Metro] Another Lost One
    2. I've lost another family member. My great grandfather, James Alfred Brasher, had a sister who married and then disappeared. My grandfather Ralph W. Brasher Sr never told me about his aunt Mahala. My gr-grandfather, James Alfred Brazier, changed the name to "Brasher" some time in the late 1880s prior to my grandfather's birth shortly before moving to Puxico, Missouri. I am hoping that some one on the list is researching the Stevens/stephens family in White county, Illinois near Carmi. I am searching for any Stevens offspring of Job Stevens and Mahala Brazier. Here is what I know about Mahala and Job: Mahala Brazier, b: 1867 at White County, IL James Alfred Brazier, b: 1869 at White County, IL Mahala Brazier and Job Stephens married: Aug 18, 1884 at Carmi, IL White County. Job was born 1859 Phillips, IL white County. My biggest questions are: where were they in 1890 and 1900 and where are they laid to rest? One Stevens family member speculates that they never left White County.----Jim
