Hi! Has anyone else updated to Family Tree Version 11 and had problems? I recently did and am trying to get some sort of reply from "Genealogy.com" but so far all I get are prefab answers which do me no good. The program opens and after about 8-10 minutes, a small rectangle box appears with the word "close" in the bottom of it. Then, it is as if the program locks up and all I can do is close it. Then, I get a warning that the program didn't close correctly so I could lose information, etc. When I return to the program it always returns to the same page, not the page I was working on. And, often the information I just entered is not "saved." Has any one else has this problem? If so, please contact me. You can contact me off site if you wish. I have had FT since Version 4 and never had a problem before. Thanks. Jean
Dear Jean, I have that version but have not used it yet. If you get any answers that don't appear on the list, would you please post them. I have been a little leery of updating since I have so much stuff entered. Did you go from version 10 to 11? I have version 9 plus the patch or whatever it is called. With version 9, they had to make corrections before I even received the CD. Georgia jeanb wrote: > Hi! > Has anyone else updated to Family Tree Version 11 and had problems?
