Looking for information on the Coghill and Hall families living in St. Louis. Captain James C. Coghill (Steamboat captain on the Mississippi) abt 1832 to 1894 wife Minerva J. Maclary abt 1840 to 1883. Children: 1) Fannie Tate Coghill 1864 to 1943 m. Benjamin W. Thornhill Thornhill children: Grace, Ruth, Robert, and Benjamin 2) Mary Jane Coghill 1866 to 1944 (died in San Diego, Ca) m. Lemuel Green Scott 1874 to 1954 (died in San Diego, Ca) Scott Children: Alvin, Genevieve, Minerva 3) Lilly Minerva Coghill 1869-1935 (died in El Paso, Texas) m. John Hawkins 1861 to 1892. 2nd marriage James Truitt Hall from Quincy, Illinois 1867-1925 (died in El Paso, Texas) Parents of James Truitt Hall are Moses Syre Hall 1819 to 1902 and Lydia Amanda Worley 1835 to ?. The Halls and Worleys were from Scioto Co., Ohio. Moses had a brother James E. Hall who married Lydia's sister, Evelyn Louisa Worley. Some of the Halls may be from Iowa. Aaron Hall, probably another brother, lived in St. Louis. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
