I am searching for a very elusive Brant family who were supposed to have lived in St. Louis. William Brant (Brandt) married Anna Maria Schmidt May 23, 1866. Their son Henry Charles Brant was born was born November 23, 1867. William died in 1869. The family tradition says they married at the Old Cathedral, that his funeral was from there. I have written them twice, once no answer and the second one was no record. I am also looking for a Schmidt family who may have lived in St. Louis for some time but moved on the Moniteau Co. Any help would be appreciated Jackie Brant
