Anne Don't know if I am reading your post correctly, but on the chance, you posted the following: //////////////////////////// In a sense I have found her - listed in the 1st enumeration as M. F. Johnson but there is no available image. I found several children listed; one of which Gertrude married a George Eberle in 1894. The 1870 census from Cincinnati, OH lists a Henrietta instead of Gertrude but the right age for Gertrude. Gertrude was my husband's grandmother." I have a GEORGE EBERLE son of JACOB EBERLE, born Bavaria about 1834 and died in Illinois Sep. 1864 and ANNA M. STAUDER, born Jan 1838 in St. Clair County, Illinois. Jacob and Anna were married 27 Aug 1855 in Madison County, Illinois. They had five children one of which was the above GEORGE EBERLE. As luck would have it George is the only one of the five children where all I have is his name and absolutely nothing else. I would assume that he was born some time between 1855 and 1865 since his siblings were born in 1858, 1860, 1861, and 1863. After Jacob Eberle's death Anna married a George Erlinger in 1865 in St. Clair County, Illinois. //////////////////////////// There are at least two George Eberle marriages in Illinois: EBERLE, GEORGE married MCLEAN, MARY in Cook County Illinois, 28 Sep 1881, License #00055802 EBERLE, GEORGE H, married OLSON, CAROLINE in Cook County, Illinois, 22 Mar 1890, License # 00150536 /////////////////////////////// Bill Surnames of Interest: BUCHHOLZ anywhere -BECKMANN-CASSIDY-DeL0NJAY-DREES-MOSBACHER-NENTWIG-NEUTZLER-PONCOT-RENSIN G-STAUDER-STIEFFERMANN ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
