I've written to the office of vital records but they said to write the marriage office, although they didn't provide an address. Thanks. Linda G. Linda, Here is the address of the archivist in the Recorder of Deeds office. They are extremely helpful, and sent me the 1895 marriage license of my grandparents, and also a copy of the page from the Marriage Records Book, showing my great-grandparents' marriage of 1876. You can contact them by e-mail first, to see if they have your rellies' records, and they will let you know exactly what license number to request.
