    1. [StL-Metro] Pin Number
    2. If you publish your Pin Number, that will save the rest of us a lot of trouble.----Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------- I have been talking to personnel at the St. Louis Public Library about getting a pin number and getting into the site. Their customer service phone number was busy yesterday each time I called. Today, I spoke to some really nice folks who are going to follow up on the problems. The problem I encountered was this: - I wanted a pin number. The plan for the pin number was that the user enters ANY 4 digit number the first time he/she enters the site and continues to use that number afterward. - I tried that and after clicking on the log in button, the site responded by clearing both my card number and the pin from the web form. It did not allow me into Heritage Quest. I called the library again and had them try my number and they confirmed that the library card was active and that the site should have accepted the information I put in the form. They said they would return my call when they know what is wrong. I will pursue this problem until I get a solution, so hang on folks! When I have the answer, I will post it. This happened to me in both MS Explorer 5 and in Netscape 7. Diane Shaw Antonia, MO
