One dollar fifty cents is too much to pay for a library card. I live out of state but the fact can never be changed that I participated in every money raising paper, tin can and string drive the City ever had when I was a kid in St Louis in the 1940s. Like the Army, I was told I would never have to pay for anything at the library for the rest of my life. (Except over due books.) I NOW CLAIM THAT PRIVELEDGE.----Jim PS The army reneged but there must be some mistake about the library.
