Hi Linda: Nothing on Rudolph but there was a William Stecher who was a teacher of gymnastics for the St. Louis Turner Society (Tuurnerverien) in the 1890s. The building was located on Chouteau as of 1889 - (the cross street is not known). The Society's original building was on 10th St. There is quite a bit of information on the Rudolph Stecher Brewery on the Net.
