Is anyone else getting bombarded by "ONLINE DEGREE" spam? What ever happened to the NO-SPAM law that was supposed to take effect, much like the NO-CALL list? Out of 25 emails today, 13 of them were for ONLINE DEGREE. There was NO UNSUBSCRIBE, and when I wanted to check out the UNSUBSCRIBE at the website, it's defunct. I won't gross you all out about the REST of my spam: of 25 emails, only 3 were real. I have Spam Blocker, but they're sent with so much clutter and emails change everytime, so it's a never-ending battle. If you have info on the NO SPAM LAW, please share it with me (us). Lisa, I too have been wondering what happened to the law regarding spam - I average over 50 spams per day. Yes, seems to infect most. On the task bar on top--Outlook Express, there is a Message button. Click that and go down to the Block sender's task and click on that with the offending mail on screen. That should bounce any subsequent messages from that sender back to them. Worth a try. I use Spam Blocker at the AT&T level, and Mailwasher here on my box. The problem is they've gotten smarter and send them out with a different name & addy, or with a different variation of the same topic and all that gobbildy-goop in the message field, and they hide the "dirty words" with things that L%K like the the word - What a waste of time - I have to share this computer with 4 other people, and my time is so limited and I spend all my time reblocking, unsubscribing, and now copying and sending to the Attorney General.
