    1. New St. Louis Genealogy database online
    2. I've just finished the transcription of data of the 12,985 people that are referenced in Stevens' "St. Louis: The Fourth City, 1764-1909". Volume one (1132 pages) tells of St. Louis history. Volumes two (1082 pages) and three (1063 pages) are totally genealogical in nature. I have completed both Volume II and III (2145 pages), and have entered everyone mentioned into a genealogical software database. Doing so allows for a standard index and also a family tree of each and every person. These 12,985 are grouped into 3954 marriages and have 3515 unique surnames. Also, when listed, I've added fields for individual's home addresses and church affiliations. This database is at the top of my "Genealogy in St. Louis" website, and it's entitled "Notable St. Louis Genealogies".
