Having been last listed in the city directories in 1916 she may well have spent her remaining years with a relative or in a home of some sort. Have you looked at census for 1920? Have you checked neighboring counties - Jefferson, St. Charles, even into St. Clair and Madison Co IL? I would go with census first to see if there are people of this surname in those areas at that time. There should be a death certificate for her at that time period in either area. I feel you will be able to get one for her and that will tell u where she is buried and parents names, if known by the information provider.
Thank you so much. Yes I have really looked at the 1920 census and don't find her. I have checked St. Charles, but not the IL side, and she could have been over there.
