Dear Listers, Does anyone on these lists have a mother, aunt or friend who went to Camp Halcyon just south of Holland, MI on the lake? My great aunt, Mimi H. Garesché and her friend, Ann O. Watt, who both taught phys ed at Roosevelt High School in St. Louis, were the owners. My late aunt, then Dorothy Garesché, and her cousin, Emilie Garesché, both went to the camp in 1917. I'm trying to document the history of the camp as part of our family history, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I remember someone in the family took me to visit the site in the 40s when I was little. It was a beautiful piece of property, but the buildings had burned down. I don't know when that happened, so I have placed an inquiry at the Holland Public Library. But it also would be wonderful to know about the campers, too. Thanks, Betty Garesché Torno
