Dear Gloria, I messed up on this relationship. Emma Jennings married Edmond Aloysius Bernoudy Garesché, the son of A. J. P. So Mimika was Edmond's grandmother; Lalite a cousin, etc. There is a Jennings descendant on this list who may be able to tell you who the other streets were named for..... Sorry I got my generations mixed up - I now have 3778 people in the database, so I hope I'm forgiven! J. P. Garesché who married Emma Jennings. I don't think it's a big deal as they developed the land, so they named streets after family members. Several streets in the area have names for ladies in either the Jennings or the Garesché family. Mimika, for instance was A. J. P.'s mother - there is a corner of Mimika and Garesché - and that's my sister's name, too. So, when I Google "Garesché" for family information, lots of hits are for addresses on that street....... Do you know if Garesche Ave. in Jennings is named after your family? I went to Fairview Elementary School and remember that street. Gloria
