One of my ancestor lived in a house right outside of Clayton in St. Louis County name "Oak Knoll." Has anyone ever heard of this place? I know there is a park named that so I wondered if the park was built where the house used to be.
Andrew, I am not an expert on Clayton, but I know of the house. My brother got married there a few years ago. It is an old mansion that was used for years as the Natural History Museum. I loved visiting there as a child on school field trips. I assume the family donated Oak Knoll to St. Louis County, or bought it but I am not sure. Who was the ancestor that lived there ?
