Hi Michelle: I guess the best answer is that you must simply ask! But, don't try to pry everything from them at one time. You must 'prime the pump' so to speak. Inevitably, simply talking about the past will bring more & more long buried memories to them. You may luckily find that it will become a team effort. The reason that these secrets are taken to the grave it that no one ever asked and they believe no one is interested in listening to their 'old stories.' It's really pretty simple.
