I am trying to sort out the RAVOLD family. Emma RAVOLD was a widow living with her brother-in-law Leonard Pelt in 1900 Census. Also in the household was Celeste RAVOLD, daughter of Nicholas RAVOLD and Isis. This Emma is not the daughter of Nicholas ravold and Anne Lawless. Emma's obit gave her maiden name as VASQUEZ. She was the daughter of Pierre Louis Vasquez and Narcissa Land widow Ashcraft and grandaughter of Benito Vasquez and Julie PAPIN. To which RAVOLD was she married. I have a John Joseph RAVOLD who died 22 Jul 1897 but nothing else on him. Leonard's first wife was Catherine Mary Elizabeth RAVOLD, daughter of John P Ravold and Octavia Martin according to her father's will. She was the granddaughter of Jacques Martin and Catherine Eulalie Vasquez (daughter of Benito Vasquez and Julie Papin).
