I had one or two Vasquez in my file and have lots of early French. I am wondering if Ravold is Americanized from something else. They could be listed under another kind of spelling, but right now, I can't imagine what!!! Do you have other spellings for this line? I will see if I have anything that links to them Pat ----- Original Message ----- From: <enalibof@netscape.net> To: <MO-STLOUIS-METRO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 22, 2007 11:07 PM Subject: [MO-STLOUIS-METRO] RAVOLD, Papin, Pelt, Martin, Lawless >I am trying to sort out the RAVOLD family. > Emma RAVOLD was a widow living with her brother-in-law Leonard Pelt in > 1900 Census. Pat, have you seen Hank McKee's Ravolds of St Louis on Rootsweb? He is looking for the link between the St Louis bunch and his New York gang. Calvary has Ann RANOLD so it was a long time before I found that the correct spelling was Ravold. Michael R was one of the administrators of Thomas Crinnion, who died intestate. It took 7 years and 4 administrators to settle the estate. By that time, most of the heirs had died. The best part was that the last adminstrator gave the names and relationships of the final heirs. Do we have any connections?
