I checked with a sister to Marie and she said yes it was Salem Lutheran. She was young when Marie died, but remembers her mother Agnas talking about her and going to the cemetery. Do you think her name was mispelled? Is it possible the death certificate has a wrong cemetery? Is the undertaker Geo L. Pleitsih still in business? Thanks for all your help. Sharon

I rechecked for any W surname in that book which covers 1907-1964 and there is no one who would fit Marie. Check with the Salem Methodist lead you had - possibly it was that. I also don't know about the fact that they moved her body. I know as of at least 1970 it was in the deed you could not exhume and remove a body for any reason without a court order.
