My husband's grandparents Agnas Taylor and Raymond Woerheide were born and raised in St. Louis. They had a daughter, Marie Woerheide born April 6, 1925 and died September 2, 1929. Gramma Heide (Agnes) told me about 15 years ago she couldn't remember where Marie was buried. She said her body was moved (not her choice) but didn't know the name of the cemetery she was moved to. Thanks to the Mo. Birth and Death Database I found Marie's death certificate. Says she was buried at Salem Cemetery on September 4, 1929. The family lived at 5504 Jennings Ave, Ward 23. Does anyone know anything about Salem Cemetery or know where the bodies were moved to? I just glanced thru St. Louis website and didn't see anything. Agnas Taylor's parent's were Alfred Otto Taylor and Mary Vedder. After Mary died, Alfred married Amelia Kaufman. Raymond Woerheide's parent's were Charles Woerheide and Emma Ida Boehmer. Thank you,
I checked the Salem Lutheran Church Record Book and there is nothing for a Woerheide at all. -----Original Message----- From: SSmith3901@aol.com To: StLouis-MO-L@rootsweb.com; StLouis-MO-D@rootsweb.com; MO-STLOUIS-D@rootsweb.com; MO-STLOUIS-METRO-D@rootsweb.com Sent: Thu, 11 Jan 2007 10:31 PM Subject: [STLOUIS-MO] Salem Cemetery My husband's grandparents Agnas Taylor and Raymond Woerheide were born and raised in St. Louis.
