I am still on the hunt for any information about Robert Robinson. He is located in St.Louis, working as a shoe maker in 1870. He works for Thomas Robinson, 709 Olive St. Thomas must have been a relative, but probably not his father. Robert is shown on the census as born 1849 in Eng. Thomas was born 1810 in Eng. Robert married Ellen Haslam in 1873. There was a daughter named Birdie. Robert and Ellen were divorced in 1879. That is all the information I have about Robert. He possibly married again in St. Louis - perhaps someone has a Robert of that age married to someone else? Virginia
