Bob, My relatives are from the Carondelet area of St. Louis. I have not been able to find them in the directories. Could it be because Carondelet was not annexed until 1876? Do you know where I can find directories for Carondelet? Thanks, Diane H.

Hi Sorry, I have nothing on that. I did not know that Carondelet was annexed as late as 1876; I suppose that was part of the separation of St. Louis from the county.
