Jane, for the cost of the plane ticket and hotel, you can rent a LOT of microfilm! There is almost nothing that is in Salt Lake that is not available at your local Family History Center. The Mormon missionaries spent two years microfilming the records in St Louis with the cooperation of the local church authorities and they were released in 1991. The Civil marriage records does not have the parents' names but you can go to the church record and possibly find that data. Ellen -----Original Message----- From: Preston B.
