Seems the Shockley's were in Osage, Gasconade & many counties around there. Guess the oldest one I found (so far) proven in my line, was John & Ann (Campbell) & don't have dates for them. Their daug., Elizabeth was b/ 22 Jan. 1834 & d/ 21 Sept 1919. She m/ James M. Branson 5 Feb 1861. The rest is just guesswork & I'm not sure if James is the s/o Jacob or relative to him. Jacob was in the Rev. War. There was a write up abt. him in Osage Co. (though he didn't live there ), because of ties to Shockley's living there. Fran
