St. Englebert is now St. Elizabeth, Mother of John the Baptist Parish. I attended Mass there several years ago at which time it was still a beautiful, vibrant church. Peggy, The name of the st. I was looking for was Shreve. The school address was Carter and Marcus. The last time we were in St. Louis we went by Carter & Marcus. There were 3 -- 2story flats at that time all with bars on the windows and doors. We lived in the the third one and it was sad to see.
