Updated information: I have completed plotting more than 200 St. Louis Catholic church locations on a searchable map that uses Microsoft Streets & Trips software. These are Catholic churches located in St. Louis City and the County of St. Louis. My searchable St. Louis map with church locations has been created using Microsoft Streets & Trips. You must have the Streets & Trips software installed on your computer in order to use my map. The church addresses have been extracted from different sources including, “Guide to St. Louis Catholic Archdiocesan Parish Records” by Christine Hughes and the St. Louis Catholic Archdiocese website. The map currently has more than 200 church locations plotted with street addresses for St. Louis City and the County of St. Louis. To view and use the map go to my website www.davernon.name <http://www.davernon.name/> , select the link for the “Maps Page”, then the link for “Searchable St. Louis Churches Map”. You will then be asked if you want to Open or Save the map. Selecting Open will open the map and you can type in an address. The map will zoom to the address and display nearby church locations. If you select “Save” you will be prompted to save the map file to your computer’s disk drive. After you have had an opportunity to test the searchable map please send me feedback. Microsoft Streets & Trips has been included with the purchase of a new computer by some computer manufacturers. That is how I got my copy of the software.
