Does anyone remember those little glass toys that were filled with little candy ball? Not sure, but think they cost abt. 5 cents. Also, the men that would come to school during recess, to show us how to do tricks w/ yo-yo's. I used to skate to school. Had the kind of skates that fit over my shoes & needed a key to adjust. Sure was safer, greater times & wish it was the same now. Of course I was always threatened that the 'Rag Man' would come get me if I didn't behave. We lived on a cinder street & would run barefoot after the ice-man, just to get a chunk. Was as good as ice cream. Fran
