    3. Hey, Pat! Actually the sailing dates are encoded in the web address. For example the first one includes the code 18480106, which translates simply to year, month, date; or 1848 January 06. The word (or words) immediately preceding the date is the name of the ship, in this case the Itzstein & Welcker. The next one on the list is the 1859 September 22, and so on. I used the same type of encoded dates in statistical research in college, and still use them in my business. Hope this helps! 1. [StL-Metro] Roll Call - V for Verger
    2. Pat Hammons
    3. I am interested in the name of VERGER Aspasie Verger was born abt Sept 10 1798 and baptised at Florissant. Parents may be Benjamin Verger and Marie Lisette VIAL (dit Manitou) She married Emanuel Gregoire (Manual/Manny) Alveraz Jan 26 1819 in St. Louis, Mo. I would like to know more about her children or siblings. (Emanual was listed a farmer at Market & 3rd in Paxton's directory in 1821) Would like to hear from anyone researching the VERGER surname. It seems to me that this name may have French origins, I have seen it as 'DuVerger, Verge, 'De Verger dit Desjardins' I am especially interested in Aspasie's children, who may be 'cousins'. I have very little on her children and their descendants. I believe one daughter 'Therese' married WILLIAM WOOD. I have a Marie Louise, born 1819 and no other info. There were other children, whom I have no names for. Aspasie was also married to Edouard H. ST. Michel on May 5 1839. I have seen his signature on some of my ancesters' documents. Edouard signed my great great grandmother's marriage certificate. Pat

I would sure like to see a death record in case it gives parents names. I think he had a sister Emma. All I have on his parents is a note stating "mothers name was AuBerger" I don't have a clue if that was a maiden name or possibly a second marriage. 3. These are my names. They are related by marriage only into my collateral lines. What I find interesting is that no longer is there a predominance of Irish marrying Irish with this generation who are mainly first or second generation Irish on my side. VONARX-given name possibly Adolph. Married one of my collaterals-Katherine Alice FINNEGAN (1879-1965). Believed that they divorced sometime before the 1920 census. Had at least one child (still living), maybe two. VORBECK, Joseph (ca 1893-1956) married into one of my collateral lines-Ellen "Nell" CALLAHAN (1895-1991) Had at least five children, four deceased as of 1993. WARD, Thomas (ca 1836-1891) married to Ann McQueeney/McQueeny (ca 1844-1907), one of their daughters or granddaughters married into my collateral FINNEGAN line. WARREN, Charles (1913-1976) married Rose FINNEGAN (1917-1999). No children. He may have been her second husband. WEGENER, August (1911?-1990?) married Helen FINNEGAN (1909-1995), collateral line. Had two children that I know of. WEIR, Elizabeth M. (CA 1916-1997) married one my collaterals-Living Vonarx. WEIR, Gloria J. (1924-1975) married my uncle Joseph Robert Emmet FINNEGAN (1919-1995)-3 living children.
