I was off list for a while and missed the D listing. My great-grandmother was Caroline DOERGES. She was in S.L in 1860 (marriage) and probably some years before that, possibly from 1846. Thanks.
Timothy HUNT fled the Great Famine from Co. Roscommon, Ireland with his wife, Ellen McDaniel, children Patrick, Michael, Bridget, Thomas, Mary, Martin, John, Katherine. They were settled in St. Louis by the 1850 US Census. Surnames of those who married into the HUNT family were McBride, Prendergast, Fahy, Hayes, Dempsey and Carroll, Hamilton, Crinnion. GUILLEMOT - (Marie Eugenia) known as 'Jenny Guillemot' - I lost track of her about 1915, when she was last listed in the St. Louis City directory at about age 67. Can't find any death or buriel records in St. Louis area. She was a seamstress, may have had something to do with the stage or acting. THOMPSON, EVA-C, lost track of her about 1905 in St. Louis, she was age 51 then. She was a sister to Jenny Guillemot. Eva was married to a Charles N. Thompson after 1880 and she is Widow Thompson by 1890. She and Charles were each born in Canada. Unable to prove if the following Charles N. Thompson was her husband too. THOMPSON, Charles, N. - Would like to hear from anyone with knowledge of the Charles Thompson/Cornelia Fisk family. Charles and Cornelia married in St. Louis Apr 20 1867. Would like to know when Cornelia died. Would like to know if anyone is searching this family. They are on the 1880 census as: Charles N. I will be happy to look for it but I need more information like the possible age of George King. It is a very common name and there are a lot of George Kings listed.
