I am researching the following families: STRUTHERS, John - born in Ontario, lived in SW City from @ 1869-1961 married Nancy Anna Pruitt 1871 in McDonald County. John STRUTHERS owned a dry goods general store for more than 30 years in Southwest City. Children: Mary born @ 1872, Robert born @ 1874, Jennie (or Jane) born @ 1876 - she married W. W. BACON in the fall of 1895 and Minnie b 1881. Also researching John's brother, Alex STRUTHERS (born Ontario 1836) who owned and operated a mill in the Southwest City area. Married Lucy Ann Wright from Ontario and had two children in Missouri: Charles born 1885 and Herbert 1888. Moved on to California during the 1890's. John and Alex had another brother Andrew STRUTHERS who was a teacher in St Louis during the early 1890's. Thanks, Annie Stanley
