Hi! This is my first message to the Roll Call list and I apologize if I do this incorrectly, but here goes: I am currently trying to research my family tree beyond my great-grandparents. My paternal Grandmother is 96 and still living in St. Joseph, Andrew County, MO and has been most helpful in giving me names and places. In brief, here is what I know: My grandmother is Mildred Elma Veach, and she was born in McCurry, Gentry County, MO. Her parents were George Alonso Veach (born in KY) and Elizabeth Consolver (possibly born in Hugginsville, Gentry County MO). My grandfather was Wesley Arthur Salmons and I do not know where he was born. His parents were Silas Salmons and Margaret Harriet Roberts. Mildred and Wesley were married in Belleville, Republic County KS in 1924 and moved shortly thereafter to the SALMONS family farmland between the cities of St. Joseph and Savannah MO (Andrew county). They have 5 children. I have more information on my Grandparents' brothers and sisters, etc. but not much else.
