I am searching for information on the John Madison Nickols family that lived in Troy, Lincoln County, Missouri during the Civil War, They lived there duringthe 1860's and at least part of the 1870's then moved to Greene Co, Ark. where he was in the 1880 Census with no wife , but 4 children: Fanny 15, Harriett 14, Powell? Orville? 11 and Phemy 8. Does anyone out there have the 1870 census for Lincoln County, MO that could look to see if they are in the town of Troy, You can't imagine how much it would meaan to me.
