Hi- I'm looking for information on John Jameson/Jamison who purchased land in Washington Co. (Now Reynolds Co.) Missouri with William Cullen Love. John Jamison b. ca 1784 in Va. married Susannah Cape March 26, 1809 in Cumberland Co. Ky. They lived for a time in Monroe Co. Illinois before coming to Washington Co.Mo. Susannah Cape was the daughter of John Cape Jr. and was born 1794 in Va. They resided in Washington Co. Black river Township, until the early to mid 1830's when they settled in Searcy Co. Arkansas. Allied families: Buford, Love, Carty, Cape There is a record of a John Jamson in Washington Co. who is listed as an Indian Agent. Would love to know if this is my ancestor.
