    3. Surnames in Missouri I am researching: All help appreciated! Thanks in advance, Connie, alconnielv@earthlink.net Batson VA>KY>Edwards Co,IL>Marshall Co,IA>Nodaway & Worth Co,MO Powers OH>IL>Worth Co,MO Robison PA>Richland Co,OH>WI>Buchannan, Nodaway & Worth Co, MO Sisk Buchanan Co, MO The related families are many including; Baker, Finders, LaMunyon, Meek, Tunnison, Parsons, Wilson, Winemiller, Yates The Robison family is my biggest BRICK WALL !! ANY help with them would be much appreciated! below is the information I do have.... Joseph ROBISON b.1819 OH. married in Richland Co, OH, 1841, Rachel DICKERSON b.1821 OH. Rachel is the daughter of Asa DICKERSON (1798-1868) and wife Margarett "?LOGAN?" (b.1797-d. aft.1868) Rachel & Joseph Robison have the following children: Emily b.1842, OH, Eunice b.1848, OH, John Logan b.1852, OH, James Leander b. 1854, OH, William.L. born 1854 in OH.. (James & William might have been twins). 1855-56 the family moved to WI, and remained there for 15 years. I have been unable to locate where in WI. In 1869 the family moved to Missouri. I think Emily did not move with the family to MO. as she was 27 by that time and most likely married. I do not find Eunice with the family either. 1880 census finds Joseph & Rachel ROBISON (listed as ROBERTSON) living next door to son James Leander and family (listed as Leander Roberson), on the property of William BATSON (wife Sarah Elizabeth's family) in Green Twp. of Worth Co., MO. I have not found them on any previous census, but know they must be there somewhere!) I have no information as to the 2 girls Emily & Eunice marriages or locations. Per brother James Leander's obit both had died by 1913. John Logan ROBISON married Medora Edwina SISK 1871 in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co, MO. By 1893 the family moved to Kingfisher Co, OK. (I have been unable to locate them on a census in MO but their 1st - 4th children were all born in MO, most likely in Grant City. Their 4th child born Nov 4, 1880 in Grant City, MO). Their children are: Jessie b.1873, Clarence Adelmer b.1875, Willamina b.1878, John Henry b.1880, Murrel Auguste b.1893 and Beulah Ester b.1896. James Leander Robison married Sarah Elizabeth BATSON 1876 in Worth Co, MO 1887 the family had moved to Kingman Co, KS, =>1888 Cooper Co, KS, =>1890 back to Green Twp, Worth Co, MO. [They are my g.g.grandparents]. (I have located them on the 1880 census only. I think James will be listed with his father Joseph in the 1870 census. His wife Sarah is listed with her parents, William & Catherine Batson in the 1870 census). Their children are, Alonzo Grafton b.1878, Alta Elizabeth b.1886, James Lloyd b.1887, William Thomas b.1888 and Gertrude b.1890. William L. ROBISON. The only information I have is the 1910 census listing with wife Arabela. They show 4 children born, but none living with them. William died 5-6-1919 and Arabella on 4-6-1924. both are buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood, Nodaway Co, MO It seems there are branches of the Dickerson and Logan families who also migrated to this area of Missouri.
