Sullivan co, Col Oliver P Phillips b kty 1816 , son of Geo M + Margaret(johnson)Philips, both b va 1764+ 1766 respectively, Geo+Margaret m 1794 + moved to Mercer co, kty in 1800. Geos father is Jeremiah Phillips . Geo died july 1838+ Margaaret died april 1837.

I am trying to locate where my gg-granfather was born. I was told Mo. but don't know his parents names, or if he had any siblings. His name was Marion Adams. Civil War records list him as Marion Francis Adams. He was b. abt. 1831, maried Margaret Tippett, also b. in Mo. abt. 1840. Her parents were Leroy S. Tippett & Malinda?
